Relieved

Aiden had his CT scan today. He laid very still and was very good so they didn't have to sedate him. I ended up asking for a copy of the scan and they gave it to me. I got a phone call a couple of hours later saying that Aiden did not have craniosynostosis. I was so relieved, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
Now we just have to wait to see if insurance will cover a helmet, I should find out within the next week. I am so excited that we will just be using a helmet and will not have to go through surgery. The helmet is going to be a pain because he has to wear it 23 hours a day and it's going to be summer so it will be hot but I would choose that over surgery anyday.
